Medeski, Martin & Wood, abbreviated as MMW, is a progressive/avant funk, jazz, and post-rock trio from the United States, formed in 1991. The band consists of John Medeski on keyboards, Billy Martin on drums, and Chris Wood on bass. They are known for often collaborating with a guitarist.
