Medeski, Martin, & Wood, commonly abbreviated as MMW, is a US American progressive/avant funk, jazz, and post-rock trio formed in 1991. The band consists of John Medeski on keyboards, Billy Martin on drums, and Chris Wood on bass. They are known for their collaborations with various guitarists.
