Melvin Davis is a talented session bass player, vocalist, keyboard player, producer, TV composer, and engineer from the USA. He gained recognition for his work in the 1980s, where he recorded, toured, and co-wrote music, including the theme song for the television show "Soul Train." Throughout his career, Davis served as a music director and collaborated with various artists. He is not to be confused with the 1960s Detroit artist of the same name.
