Mensen Blaffen is a new wave band from Aalst, Belgium, known for their unique blend of post-modernist funk, new wave, post-punk, and surrealistic Dutch lyrics, complemented by beautiful female vocals. The band has gained recognition for their live performances, having supported various acts. Originally a five-piece, they later expanded to six members. The original lineup included members on bass guitar, synthesizer, vocals, electric guitar, and drums. For their first record, a saxophonist contributed as a guest musician. Following the release of their debut album, one member departed, leading to a reshuffle in the lineup: a new guitarist took over, another member joined to play bass, and Edward V came on board with his saxophone.
