Mercenárias was an all-female post-punk and punk-funk band from São Paulo, Brazil, active from 1982 to 1988. Initially, they received assistance from Edgard Scandurra on drums, who was soon replaced by Ciça. The classic lineup consisted of Sandra, Rosalia, Ana Maria, and Lou, who recorded two albums together. The band returned in subsequent decades with various lineups, consistently featuring Sandra.
