Merrill E. Moore was an American pianist born on September 26, 1923, in Algona, Iowa. He was known for his unique musical style that combined elements of boogie-woogie, western swing, and early R&B. Moore had a notable influence on the rockabilly genre. He passed away on June 14, 2000, in San Diego, California.
