MF Grimm is an underground hip-hop MC and producer born and raised in Manhattan, New York City. In 1994, he survived an attempted murder that left him deafened, blinded, and paralyzed from the waist down. He made a remarkable recovery, regaining full vision, hearing, and speech ability, although he continues to use a wheelchair. Initially, he performed under the name The Grimm Reaper before changing it to MF Grimm, where MF stands for Mad Flows. He also adopted the alias Superstar Jet Jaguar. In 2003, he briefly changed his name to GM Grimm and released one album under that name, but returned to MF Grimm in 2005.
