Mica Paris, born on April 27, 1969, in Islington, London, England, is a celebrated artist in the UK soul scene. She gained international recognition with her hit "My One Temptation," collaborating with various giants in the music industry. Mica began her vocal career at the age of seven, singing in her church. At 16, she changed her name from Michelle to Micha and later dropped the 'h,' adopting the name Mica. This name change coincided with her joining the gospel group Spirit Of Watts. By the mid-1980s, she was providing background vocals for secular groups. Over the years, Mica has expanded her talents to include production and songwriting. Recently, she was involved in the BBC Radio 2 series "Soul Solutions" and made a brief appearance on the BBC1 show “Eastenders” in 2020. Mica is also the older sister of a notable figure in the music industry.
