Michael Dress was an English composer born on July 9, 1935, in Berlin, Germany. He taught expressionist dance in 1952 before relocating to London, where he worked as a composer and musical director from 1967 to 1975. During his career at the BBC, he wrote an opera, composed music for the theatre, and scored numerous films. Michael Dress passed away on April 11, 1975, at the age of 39 in London, England, UK.
