Michael Johnson is a recording engineer and producer who began his career in the late '70s. He worked at various studios and quickly became one of the most sought-after engineers and producers in the post-punk rock scene, notably engineering releases for several prominent artists. Currently, he is part of the Liverpool music scene, operating from his Tankfield Recording Studio in Wirral, UK.
