Michael Magne was a French composer born on March 20, 1930, in Lisieux, France. He gained recognition as a soundtrack composer, most notably for his scores for the Fantômas films from 1964 to 1967. Magne also ran a studio inside the legendary Château d'Hérouville, where many famous artists, including David Bowie, recorded. He passed away on December 19, 1984, in Cergy, France.
