Michael Shrieve is an American drummer and electronic producer, born on July 6, 1949, in San Francisco. He is a founding member of the band Santana, playing on their first eight albums until 1974. Afterward, he became an electronic music producer, honing his skills while performing with Klaus Schulze. In 2016, Shrieve returned to Santana for the album "Santana IV" and the live album "Santana IV Live At The House Of Blues Las Vegas."
