Michel Magne was a French composer born on March 20, 1930, in Lisieux, France. He gained fame primarily as a soundtrack composer, notably for his scores for the Fantômas films released between 1964 and 1967. Magne operated his own studio inside the legendary Château d'Hérouville, where many renowned artists, including David Bowie, recorded. He passed away on December 19, 1984, in Cergy, France.
