Papa Michigan, born Anthony Fairclough, and General Smiley, born Erroll Bennett, were pioneers of the dual-toasting style in Jamaica's Dancehall scene during the late 1970s. While still in school, the comedic duo quickly gained popularity with their hits "Rub a Dub Style" and a toasted version of "Real Rock" titled "Nice up the Dance." It's important to note that Erroll Bennett should not be confused with the Jazz-Funk percussionist known as Erroll 'Crusher' Bennett.
