Mick & The Shambles is a band that originated in 1966 at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group was formed by Mike Joyce, along with original members Joel Ziev on drums and Harry Feinhals, Jr. on keyboards. Lead guitarist Bob Youngs, who taught Mike to play guitar at Bordentown Military Institute in New Jersey, and bassist Phil Orlando from Trenton, NJ, later joined the band. As the original members began graduating from college, Mike Joyce relocated to Buffalo, NY, to become the Promotion Manager for Best & Gold Record Distributors.
