Mick Farren was an English journalist, writer, editor, musician, and singer, best known as the leader of The Deviants and a significant figure in the London counterculture. He was born on September 3, 1943, in Cheltenham, England. Farren published his memoir, "Give The Anarchist A Cigarette," in 2001. He passed away from a heart attack on July 27, 2013, after collapsing at a gig at the Borderline club in London.
