**Bio: Midnight Heist** Midnight Heist emerged from the iconic Pork Chop Sessions in Detroit during the height of the ‘80s Pink Sugar Rush movement. Originally known as the Downtown Detroit Midnight Heist Association, this collective comprised musicians, disc jockeys, dancers, and adult performers who embraced creative freedom and sexual liberation. Their legendary week-long parties, held in near darkness at the now-defunct Silver Kly-Maxx Factory, have become the stuff of legend. Now, over three decades later, the group consists of just two surviving members, who remain incognito as DJ-producers. They continue to thrive in the vibrant world of nocturnal entertainment, showing no signs of slowing down. Although their current location is a mystery, the duo frequently sends dubplates from their extensive musical archive to the London-based label Bona Fido, aiming to share their unique spiritual legacy with the world.
