Charles Harris, known as the Mighty Zebra, is a renowned Trinidadian calypsonian who made a significant impact in the Virgin Islands during the 1950s. He arrived for the Carnival in 1952 and decided to stay, performing at the Virgin Isles Hotel alongside the popular LaMotta Brothers Band. The LaMotta Band, led by an unnamed individual, gained fame for their recordings and also backed Mighty Zebra on a 1957 album released by RCA Records.
