Mikael Rickfors is a Swedish rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist, born on December 4, 1948, in Stockholm. He gained international recognition early in his career and later became very popular in Sweden as a solo artist in the mid-1980s and again in the early 1990s. In early 1972, Rickfors joined a well-known British rock group, taking over the role of singer from Allan Clarke, who had left to pursue a solo career. Rickfors remained with the group until July 1973.
