Mike Huckaby was an American DJ, producer, and sound recording teacher born on January 4, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on April 24, 2020, in his hometown of Detroit. In the 1990s, he worked at the well-known Record Time music store alongside other notable figures. Huckaby was also recognized for his dedication to teaching, as he organized lecturing camps worldwide to share his expertise in basic and advanced synthesis, sound design, and production skills using software like Native Instruments (Reaktor, Maschine) and Ableton.
