Mike Johnson is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Oregon. He was a member of the punk band Snakepit from 1984 to 1989 and served as the bass guitarist for Dinosaur Jr. from 1991 to 1998. In addition to releasing several solo albums, he contributed guitar work and co-produced Mark Lanegan's first solo records. Johnson has also been involved with the bands Queens of the Stone Age and Caustic Resin.
