Miki Howard is a recording artist and actress known for her work in film, including a role in Spike Lee's "Malcolm X." Born Alicia Michelle "Miki" Howard in Chicago, Illinois, she comes from a musical background, being the daughter of two well-known gospel singers. Her father sang with a prominent gospel group, while her mother was a member of a group that would later be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
