Mildred Clark, born Mildred Seaberry on September 10, 1933/1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas, was an American soul and gospel singer. She was one of nine children born to Mr. George and Mrs. Cora Seaberry. Mildred's family relocated to Kansas City, Kansas, during her childhood. She married Series Clark and had three daughters: Barbara, Saundra, and Maryetta (known as Doll), who all sang with her on her ABC/Peacock and Savoy albums. Mildred was a lifelong member of the Miracle Temple COGIC in Kansas City. She passed away from cancer on April 21, 2007, and is buried at Highland Park Cemetery.
