Milt Jackson was an American jazz vibraphonist, pianist, composer, and bandleader, born on January 1, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on October 9, 1999, in New York City, New York. Throughout his career, Jackson performed with various artists and led his own bands. He was also known as the brother of another musician.
