Minor Detail was an Irish synthpop band formed in 1981 in Blackrock, Dublin, Ireland. The band primarily consisted of brothers, along with occasional collaborators. After signing to a label in 1983, they produced a self-titled album and several singles, with one single peaking at number 25 in the Irish charts in October of that year. The group disbanded in 1984 but reunited in 1986, this time signed to RCA. They released two more singles before disbanding for good in 1987. Following the band's breakup, John Hughes became the manager for an Irish pop rock band, while Willie left the music industry to write a religious self-help book titled "Do You Want a Miracle?" in 2008.
