Mioko Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口美央子; born March 22, 1959) is a Japanese singer, writer, and composer known for blending traditional Japanese music with various influences, including AOR, jazz, fusion, reggae, and synthpop. She had a brief singing career from 1980 to 1985, during which she released three studio albums and one best-of compilation. In the mid-1980s, she shifted to the background to compose songs for other Japanese artists, including Yuki Saitou, Isako Washio, Seika Iwashita, and Watanabe Naoyoshi. Mioko made her comeback as a singer in January 2019 with the release of "Tokisakashima."
