Miquel Brown is a Canadian disco and hi-NRG singer and actress, born in Montreal on February 8, 1949. Her name is pronounced "Michael," which has fueled an urban legend about her gender. She is a stepsister of an undisclosed individual. Raised in Vancouver, Canada, and later in Washington D.C., she became a teenage mother of twins at the age of 14, one of whom would become a future pop star in the 1980s. Miquel moved to London in 1973, where she initially focused on theatre. She gained prominence in music with her first album, "Symphony Of Love," produced in 1978. In 1983, she experienced a resurgence with the hit "So Many Men, So Little Time," which reached #1 in France and Mexico, produced by an unnamed individual. This success was followed by other hits such as "He's A Saint, He's A Sinner" and "Close To Perfection" in 1985. Miquel was briefly a member of an unspecified group in 1985, substituting for a pregnant member. She continued to release a few singles in the 1990s, with her last being a cover of "It's A Sin" in 1997, but has primarily focused on her acting career since then.
