Mira is an American shoe-gaze rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1996. The original lineup consisted of a guitarist, vocalist, drummer, and bassist, and the band was initially called "Still." In 1999, a new guitarist joined the group. In 2000, Riles was replaced, and the band changed their name to Mira. Their music is heavily textured and draws influence from bands like The Cure and Lush, utilizing a variety of effects pedals.
