M.NOMIZED is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Paris, France, known for his work as a musician, composer, painter, and puppeteer. He joined the contemporary music scene in 1975, performing alongside notable artists such as Claude Nougaro and Bernard Lavilliers. His exploration of Indian raga led to the formation of his own group, "Dhismâ," marking the beginning of his study of repetitive music. In 1983, he established a label dedicated to promoting and distributing diverse musical forms, including minimalist and electro-acoustic genres. Over the years, he has produced more than 90 cassettes and CDs, both under his own name and in collaboration with other artists, across various independent labels worldwide. M.NOMIZED is also engaged in creating "sound environments" for art exhibitions in cities like Oslo and New York, while continuing to develop new albums and pursue his interest in the Mail-Art movement.
