Mocedades is a Spanish vocal band that originated as three sisters: Amaya (b. 1947), Izaskun (b. 1950), and Estíbaliz Uranga Amézaga (b. 1952), known as "Las Hermanas Uranga." They later changed their name to "Voces Y Guitarras" in 1967 and finally to "Mocedades." In 1969, they released their first album and achieved notable success by securing second place in the Eurovision Song Contest of 1973 with the song "Eres Tú." Initially, the band consisted of eight members, including the Uranga siblings and the Blanco brothers (Rafael and Sergio), along with José Manuel Ipiña and Francisco Panera. Over time, the lineup changed, with José Ipiña and Francisco Panera leaving in the late 1970s and Javier Garay joining. In 1972, Estíbaliz and the Blanco brothers departed, leading to the return of José Ipiña and the addition of Carlos Zubiaga. This "historic" lineup comprised Amaya, Carlos, Izaskun, Javier, José, and Roberto, during which they produced their most popular hits. In 1984, Amaya left to pursue a solo career, and Ana Bejerano replaced her, recording three albums: "Colores," "Sobreviviremos," and "Íntimamente," the last of which was released
