Modern Art was a UK new wave, electro, and synth rock band formed in the early 1980s, primarily led by Gary Ramon, who played various instruments with the help of some guest musicians. The band performed live on only a few occasions and released several limited cassette-only releases, along with two studio albums. Following this period, more releases emerged. In 1989, after moving in a more psychedelic direction, Ramon disbanded Modern Art to form a new project.
