Momoe Yamaguchi (山口百恵, Yamaguchi Momoe) is a retired Japanese pop singer and actress, born on January 17, 1959. Her career spanned just seven years, from 1973 to 1980, during which she released 22 albums, 32 singles, and achieved three number one hits. In addition to her music career, she starred in 15 feature films and several television serial dramas.
