Money Click is a US rap group from New York, consisting of members Chris Black, Ja Rule, and O-1. Initially, they were known as Money Click, but later changed the middle part of their name to Murda to avoid confusion with Cash Money Records. The group was scheduled to release their debut album, "Est. Since '93," on November 5, 2002, under Murder Inc./TVT Records. However, the release was halted due to a lawsuit involving Lyor Cohen, then a prominent figure at Def Jam Records, which prevented Ja Rule from recording an album for another label.
