Mong Tong is a Taiwanese psychedelic music band formed by brothers Hom Yu and Jiun Chi. The band's name, derived from their childhood nickname, holds different meanings in various languages, including Burmese, Cantonese, and Chinese. Their music draws significant influence from Southeast Asian culture, encompassing mythology and folklore, as well as the psychedelic sounds of the 60s and 70s. Mong Tong's sound is marked by hypnotic rhythms, dreamy melodies, and otherworldly atmospheres.
