Mongrels is a hip-hop duo consisting of emcee Kid Acne and deejay Benjamin. They came together in the mid-1990s, united by their shared passion for hip-hop and graffiti. At that time, Benjamin was creating pause-button tapes using belt-drive decks, while a young Kid Acne was navigating his teenage years.
