Monique Séka is an Afro-zouk singer from Ivory Coast, born on November 22, 1953. As the daughter of Okoi Seka, an Ivorian singer from the 1990s, she was immersed in the world of music from a young age. Known as the queen of Afro-zouk music, Monique Séka is celebrated for her exceptional tone of voice and her unique musical fusion, establishing her as a diva of Ivorian music. She married Dominique Richard, a founding member of Radio Sun, on March 31, 1995, who also became her producer and manager. Monique is the mother of a daughter, Carolyn Richard, born on February 9, 1998.
