Morrison Kincannon is a musician who began his journey as a teenager, collaborating with his friend Terry Kincannon to write and record songs. Influenced by West Coast artists such as Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, and even Perry Como, they spent much of the 1970s creating a vast archive of recordings, although few were released. Some of their work made it to private press seven-inch singles, gaining some attention across the Atlantic. Despite being signed to various management deals, their musical pursuits dwindled over time. By 1986, Morrison shifted his focus away from songwriting and recording, opting for a career as a carpenter to provide for his growing family, having married and welcomed his first child in the late 1970s.
