Mother Tongue is a Californian alternative rock band known for their influences from blues, funk, soul, and other styles. The band was active from 1990 to 1996 and then reunited in 2002, continuing to perform. The current lineup includes David "Davo" Gould on bass and vocals, Christian Leibfried on guitar and vocals, Bryan Tulao on guitar and vocals, and Sasha Popovic on drums since 2002. Past members include Geoff Haba on drums, Chris Cano, Gabriel Roland, and Jesse Tobias on guitar.
