Mr. Mike has been a prominent figure in the Swiss house music scene for over a decade, starting his journey on Couleur 3 with a funky disco show called Couleur Platine, which highlighted the diversity of black dance music, including Funk, Disco, and Soul. He collaborated with notable artists such as Big Charlie, Dr. Silk, Danny Le Rouge, Baby Chris, and later DJ Djaimin, helping to establish "Groove Lift," recognized as one of the best live dance music shows in Europe. Throughout his career, Mike has worked with various artists and producers, beginning as the featured vocalist on the debut album of Sens Unik (rap) and later collaborating with George Morel for Strictly Rhythm and Willow for Hi Bias. During this period, the New York Club in Neuchatel was a hotspot for house music, complemented by extravagant parties at the Casino de Montreux. The collaboration between Mr. Mike and DJ Djaimin marked a significant phase, producing "Give You," with Mike providing vocals on the B side, which became a club classic. As the music scene shifted towards techno, Mike remained dedicated to house music, ultimately scoring a hit in the late nineties with DJ Djaimin under the alias The Black & White Brothers.
