Mudhoney is an American alternative rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1988. The band was established by vocalist Mark Arm and former guitarist Steve Turner following the split of a seminal Seattle band. Although they did not achieve the same level of fame as some of their label and city counterparts, Mudhoney played a significant role in the early 90s grunge scene and remains one of the most enduring groups from that era.
