Music For Pleasure was formed in Leeds, England in 1979. The band consisted of David Whitaker on synths and keyboards, Mark Copson on vocals, Ivor Roberts on bass, and Chris Oldroyd on drums. They released several 7'' singles and two albums, titled "Into The Rain" and "Blacklands." Heavily influenced by Punk and Krautrock, they are regarded as an underrated band of the 80s. Their track "Madness At The Mission" is featured on their first 7'' single, "The Human Factor."
