My Favorite Robot is an Electro/Techno/Tech-House trio based in Toronto, Canada, composed of DJ producers Jared Simms, James Teej, and Voytek Korab. The project was originally formed by Simms and Korab in Montreal in 2002, and they established their label in 2008 after Jared relocated to Toronto. During this time, they connected with Teej, who soon became involved with the My Favorite Robot label. A musical affinity developed between Teej and the duo, leading to the trio's formation.
