Mystic Eyes is a Jamaican Roots Reggae vocal trio formed by Anthony Johnson, Les Clarke, and Balvin Fials. Anthony Johnson spent significant time at the Rasta camp on Selassie Drive, where he met Clarke and Fials. The trio recorded several tracks with Linval Thompson, which Johnson released without their knowledge as the album "Mysterious" in the UK in 1979. Some of these tracks were later released by Johnson in 2009 on the "Perilous Time Showcase" album. Mystic Eyes also recorded three tracks for Lee "Scratch" Perry at his Black Ark studio, with "Forward With Jah Orthodox" being released as a single on Perry's Black Art label.
