Mystic Jungle is a Naples-based music producer and DJ selector known for his expertise in rare Italian and Neapolitan sounds from the '70s and '80s. His journey into music production began during his university years as a self-taught artist, where he explored electronic music composition using Cubase. Since 2009, he has released tracks under various aliases and across multiple labels. In 2015, he launched Periodica Records and Futuribile, marking a significant turning point in his career. His collaborations with Raffaele Arcella (Whodamanny) and Enrico Fierro (Milord) flourished during this time, forming a tight-knit production team known for its unique sound and aesthetic signature. As both an artistic and executive producer, Mystic Jungle manages the musical aspects and visual identity of each release, focusing on rediscovering and reissuing rare records from the Naples and Italian music scenes. In 2018, he released his debut solo album, Night of Cheetah, followed by the Q-disc Jurakan in 2019. Over the years, his sound has evolved, blending influences from Italo-Disco, New Wave, Reggae, and Soft Rock. His 2022 mini LP, Deviant Disco, received critical acclaim and ranked among the top 50 best-sellers on Discogs that year. Additionally, some of his tracks were featured in campaigns by JBL (USA) and Camper (Spain).
