Nadia Cattouse (born 2 November 1924 in Belize City, British Honduras - died 29 October 2024) was a Belizean-born British actress, singer, and songwriter. She settled in Britain in 1951 and gained recognition for her acting roles in various British television programmes, including Play for Today, Crown Court, Dixon of Dock Green, and Johnny Jarvis. In the 1960s, she was a prominent singer at Les Cousins folk and blues club in London and appeared on television programs such as the BBC’s Sing Along and Hootenanny. Cattouse was a contemporary of Julie Felix and Fairport Convention, and Melody Maker referred to her as "one of the giants of the folk-song revival in Britain." She collaborated with Robin Hall and Jimmie Macgregor on the album Songs of Grief & Glory (1967) and released her own album, Earth Mother (1970), which was partly recorded at the 1969 Edinburgh Festival. Additionally, she featured on compilations such as Cult Cargo: Belize City Boil Up (2005) and Club Folk 2 (1972).
