Nai Bonet was a captivating brunette actress, singer, and belly dancer, known for her stunning beauty and voluptuous figure. Born on January 6, 1939, in Saigon, Vietnam, to a Vietnamese mother and a French father, she began her career as a professional entertainer at the age of thirteen, headlining as a belly dancer at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Nai appeared in several films and television programs, often portraying exotic dancers. Her notable works include roles in "John Goldfarb, Please Come Home," "The Sheik" episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies," "The Spy with the Cold Nose," and the soft-core comedy "Fairy Tales." She also played a hooker with a heart of gold in the crime saga "Hoodlums" and starred as Dracula's rebellious granddaughter in the disco vampire comedy "Nocturna," for which she also conceived the stories and served as executive producer. Nai recorded the novelty song "Jelly Belly" for Karate Records and featured on the covers of albums by Gus Vali & His Orchestra. On stage, she performed in productions such as "Aida," "Dance of the Seven Veils," "The Rubaiyat of Sophie Klein," and "Lysistrata." After the failure of "Hoodlums," she retired from movies and currently resides in Manhattan.
