Napalm Beach was an American punk rock band formed in Longview, Washington, in 1980 by Chris Newman, originally under the name the Untouchables. The band later relocated to Portland, Oregon. Drummer Sam Henry joined in 1981, followed by bassist Dave Dillinger in 1989. Throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s, Napalm Beach headlined shows and opened for national acts in Portland and Seattle, and they toured Europe several times between 1989 and 1992. The band remained active until 1995, recording their final studio album, "In My Tree," in 1994. After their breakup, they regrouped for a few spotlight gigs, but on July 11, 2013, Newman declared the band officially defunct while celebrating his 60th birthday. Over their career, they recorded and released around a dozen albums on small labels, with some available on Bandcamp.
