**Napalm Death Bio** Formed in Birmingham, UK in 1982 by Nik Bullen, Napalm Death emerged as one of the defining bands of the UK hardcore thrash/punk scene in the mid to late 1980s, alongside groups like Doom. The band has experienced numerous line-up changes over the years, with many former members becoming influential figures in various musical genres. Their debut album, "Scum," featured Justin Broadrick and Nik Bullen, with the first stable line-up consisting of Lee Dorrian (vocals), Bill Steer (guitar), Mick Harris (drums), and Shane Embury (bass). By late 1989, Lee Dorrian left to form a doom metal band and focus on his label, Rise Above, while Bill Steer also departed to concentrate on his other band. Dorrian was succeeded by Barney Greenway, formerly of a death metal band, and Jesse Pintado was brought in as an American guitarist from fellow Earache label-mates. Mitch Harris joined shortly after as a second guitarist. Mick Harris left the band in 1991, pursuing various solo and collaborative projects. He was replaced by Danny Herrera, a friend of Jesse's from Los Angeles. This line-up remained intact until 2004, when Jesse Pintado exited the band. The current members include Barney Greenway, Mitch Harris, Shane Embury, John Cooke, and Danny Herrera.
