Nappy Brown was a US R&B and blues vocalist and pianist, born on October 12, 1929, in Charlotte, NC. He began his musical journey singing with The Selah Jubilee Singers before launching a solo career. Brown was signed to Savoy Records from 1954 to 1963. He passed away on September 20, 2008, in his hometown of Charlotte, NC.
