Narwal was a band from the Netherlands that was most active during the 1980s. The group consisted of four members, two of whom were also involved in industrial music projects. Their "Nirvana" volumes were previously available only on tape and in limited quantities through the band's own label, De Fabriek. These volumes were carefully compiled by Jeroen Vermandere, a passionate figure in Dutch cassette culture and the founder of the label Ongehoord.
